Carnivals are particularly attractive at night. There isn't a whole lot to write about my recent carnival visits, but here are some photos taken on a Pugh Shows midway on April 12, 2000.

This Chance Yo Yo has a spectacular lighting package. Pugh put this at one end of the midway. It's one of those pieces that says without a doubt, "Here is a carnival!".
| The Hrubetz Tip Top is an unusual piece. Pugh recently had theirs completely refurbished as you can see in this photo. | ![]() | |

The Sky Wheel is fast becoming a rarity, but Pugh recently had this one refurbished and now uses it to anchor an end of the midway. The Sky Wheel was a product of the Allan Herschell company which was later marketed and serviced by Chance Rides. Recently, Chance sold their interest in Allan Herschell products, which means rides like this one may soon be endangered. | ![]() |

Seen in kiddielands all over the country, this is one of the cutest dragons you'll ever hope to meet. He is the front end of a Wisdom Dragon Wagon children's roller coaster ride.
