"You have got to be kidding!"
Saturday I couldn't go anywhere because I had other obligations. Sunday, I woke up not knowing where I was going to go. I was leaning towards either Cedar Point, so that I could get my first ride on Skyhawk, or Geauga Lake which was celebrating its opening weekend. But I have a lot of options within a reasonable driving distance. The weather in Columbus has been miserable for the past few days, so I decided to check the forecast and see what might be reasonable. In hindsight, I should have captured the forecast map for the day, but a selected radar view tells much the same story:

Yikes! I don't think I've had any weekend in two or three years that was such a complete washout. Every open park within a 200 mile radius had rain. I decided to stay home for a change. Of course, I couldn't do much at home either, since the things that most desperately need done are all outdoors, and it rained all day.
Better luck next time, I guess...
