That's me, standing under the Skyliner roller coaster at Lakemont Park, Altoona, Pennsylvania.

of the Gladiators:
In my Kennywood trip report for August 6, 2000 (posted to rec.roller-coaster) I mentioned that I entered the park just as Entry of the Gladiators was playing on the park's public address system. You have heard this march, written by Julius Fucik, before, though you might not know it by name. Heck, I didn't know its name until just recently! Anyway, the MIDI file linked above is a really good rendition of it that I found out on the Web someplace.
Here's another song that you have certainly heard, but might not know by name..and you've probably heard all of it, but it's unlikely that you've heard it all put together in one piece. It was written by Raymond Scott, and the reason you know it is that Carl Stalling used it in countless cartoons, and parts of it are used for all of the "bumpers" on Cartoon Network.
