Dave's Pacific Northwest Coaster Tour

July 13-22, 1999

The Pacific Northwest is beautiful country, with its mountains, forests, and seashores. It is also the home of an endangered roller coaster, the Coaster at the Pacific National Exposition site in Vancouver, British Columbia. It is also where my brother chose to call home, and as I look at the map on the wall in my study, I see that there are a whole bunch of amusement parks out there. So I had plenty of reasons to visit

So that is what I did. Now, join me for an illustrated tour of the amusement parks of the Pacific Northwest. Our journey starts at Enchanted Forest, but you can follow along in any order using the list below:

Start at Enchanted Forest in Turner, Oregon, or proceed directly to...

Thrill-Ville USA, Turner, Oregon
Oaks Park, Portland, Oregon
Enchanted Village, Federal Way, Washington
Fun Forest and the Seattle Center, Seattle, Washington
Playland at the PNE Site, Vancouver, British Columbia
Riverfront Park, Spokane, Washington
Silverwood, Athol, Idaho
Jantzen Beach SuperCenter, Portland, Oregon
And some other comments on the trip...
