The projects this year have been absolutely amazing. When I met this groups of girls I was astonished by how smart they were. When we asked the girls to start thinking of questions to research, they blew me away. They were curious about some very complex concepts; in fact, much to my dismay, I had to tell some of the girls their questions were too hard to explore in such a short amount of time. This is my second year and final year working with G.R.O.W.S. and I am sad to leave but I believe that the girls have taught me more in the past two years than I could have learned in any class.

I want to thank the wonderful teachers from Franklin Alternative Middle School, Mr. Scott McComb and Ms. Debra Moraga for their support and for picking such a great group of girls. I also want to thank Dr. Erica Brownstein for asking me to work with G.R.O.W.S. Thank you girls for being such intelligent and unique individuals and for working so hard. Thank you mentors for working so hard; I know that you had to work as hard as the girls to create such wonderful projects. Mostly I would like to thank the parents for sharing your amazing daughters with us; they are a joy to work with. I hope you are as proud of your girls as I am they worked very hard.
