PowerPoint Presentation from the Symposium on Undergraduate Research

Every year at Capital University the School of Arts and Sciences hosts the Symposium on Undergraduate Research where students can highlight the research they have completed in the previous year.  At the 2002 Symposium the program coordinator of G.R.O.W.S., Lisa Nichols, presented "Women in Science: A Selective History and Service Learning Project [listed as "G.R.O.W.S. Girls Reaching Out With Science"]."  This presentation focuses on German astronomer Maria Winkelmann-Kirch and the G.R.O.W.S. program.  The presentation was well attended and generally viewed as a success.
